Jamaica

December 19, 2013

Recently both Ginny and I completed our Jamaica consultant seminar. We updated our knowledge of the island and all the fun and new things there are to do.  The island hosts many great   all- inclusives, including but not limited too, Sandals, Iberostar, Secrets, and Riu resorts.

River rafting, horseback riding, diving, snorkeling, zip line are just a few of the activities available. Call and ask about Jamaica, ” Now that’s what I call alright!”

Ginny also has been working on finishing up her Disney Destination seminar course work.  She already had her mouse ears from a while back, but with so many changes at Disney, we felt it would be a good idea to refresh and do the current seminar course. Let us know if you are considering a Disney Vacation or cruise. So many exciting things going on at the parks this year.

We are always updating our certifications and doing online seminars. This is what makes us qualified to make recommendations and to provide you with the best service. I always emphasize learning in our office and feel we owe our clients unrivaled effort.

I want to take this opportunity to extend my most sincere Christmas wishes to everyone. Thank you to those who support my agency. I cannot express the gratitude and appreciation for the business the community gives us. This agency runs mostly on referrals and we can’t be here without your help. Remember BUY LOCAL OR BY-BY LOCAL!

Best regards for a happy and healthy  New Year– Josephine

Croatia

December 12, 2013

Did you know that Croatia is the 28th nation to become part of the European Union?

Since the end of communism and the nation states of Yugoslavia, Coatia has been attracting more and more tourism. Being on the Adriatic Sea affords the advantages of a beautiful coastline. Music festivals, medieval towns, and national parks are gems of this small country.

Trogir is a UNESCO World Heritage site,  explore Dubrovnik’s medieval fortress, enjoy lunch and explore the museums. There are many small islands on the coast to visit. Hiking the Plitvička jezera National Park, fishing, kayaking, diving, rafting, golfing, skiing, are just a few activities for those that enjoy the outdoors.

Freshwater fish, meats and local vegetables are the always on the menu. Much of the culinary influence comes from it’s Mediterranean neighbors. Try Maraschino, a desert liqueur made from local cherries paired with Pag cheese from the  island of Pag. Each region will display its prized gastronomical delicacies.

This is just a short intro to what Croatia has to offer as a travel destination. Beauty, antiquity, cuisine, adventure.
